I wanna start off by saying I hate it rained Saturday bc I was looking forward to seeing the points battles play out on the track. But mother nature won out.
I wanna say congrats to Dallas "chicken man" Calvert and the Calvert family on winning the pro points. It was a battle all year and Dallas came out on top over Ronnie "Big D" Dotson, Mark "Dragrcr1" Davis, and Hank "bald eagle" Guyton. Also a shout out to Jay Norris on finishing 5th in the footbrake ride.
Next congrats To Jay "j-train" Norris on picking up yet another footbrake championship in what I would call a dominating fashion. All I can say is Your The Man!!!!!
Next is the junior dragster class. I wanna give a big congrats to my bro Trey Strange on picking up his 1st championship and finishing his junior career on top. It was like Pro a battle all year long with multi time champion "Big A" Adam Tapp, Robbie "rat poison" P, and Katie Pace. I've been watching Trey all year and he has brought his game every week and just a job well done.
Lastly wanna give props to "the water box boy" Houston burch on the TCR championship in his last year. He will be making the move to the footbrake ranks next year and looking to knock Jay off the top.

I also wanna say Congrats to the 2012 Greer Dragway Track Champions. Good season of racing and tight battles down to the last race. One race can make a difference but thats why its called a season. Good luck in the Champions run-offs at Bracket Finals and Go for a World Championship. If my memory serves me correct when Jay went to the World Championships he went by way of Piedmont so he knows the way. The last time Dallas won the Track Championship he went on to win the Run-off at Rockingham. Just gotta get to Finals of run-off this year so good luck to both. Trey as good as he has drove this year could be the Innagural Jr. Dragster World Champion for sure!!!!
